About Senior Puzzles Daily

Senior Puzzles Daily is a collection of large-print puzzles designed for older adults, and for anyone who finds ordinary puzzle sites hard on the eyes or the hands.

Free every day

Every day, everyone gets a free Easy puzzle of all seven kinds: Sudoku, Wordoku, Calcudoku, Colorku, Crossword, Word Search and Cryptogram. You do not need an account, and nothing is collected about you. Your progress stays on your own device.

The puzzles

There are seven kinds of puzzle, each in three levels (Easy, Medium and Hard). Sudoku, Wordoku, Calcudoku and Colorku are number-grid puzzles, and each comes in two grid sizes: a classic 9 by 9 and a gentler 6 by 6. Crossword, Word Search and Cryptogram each come in five themes.

The puzzles are made and checked by the people behind Senior Puzzles Daily. How we make our puzzles explains how each kind is generated and checked, where the quotations come from, and how to report a mistake.

Membership

Membership is coming soon. It will open every level, grid size and theme and let you play as many puzzles as you like each day, with your scores and history saved to an account. Until then, the free daily puzzles need no account at all.

How the site is funded

There are no ads, and there never has to be a puzzle that follows you around. When membership opens, its fees will pay for the site: the puzzles, the servers and the work of keeping everything easy to read.

What we care about

Text can be made very large, colours are high in contrast, buttons are big, and a tap that lands slightly off target still works. Nothing punishes a slow player: the timer counts up, can be hidden, and pauses when you step away. The free daily puzzle is kept on your device so it can still be played if the connection drops. Our accessibility statement says what we do and where we fall short.
